1. Will the software be able to handle payments
to affiliates?
DH-MLM will not automatically pay affiliates. Instead you will
receive an email whenever it is time for an affiliate to get paid.
Once the affiliate is paid, you just have to press a button to
record this.
2. Can I customise
the header and footer of the pages that affiliates are showed
(ie. the affiliate control panels)?
Yes, everything is fully customisable. You can modify the code
if you want, but by doing so, we can no longer provide you with
support. DH-MLM was not designed to be integrated with any shopping
cart system as yet. If you wish to modify the code to integrate
it with your system, feel free to do so. Again, we can't provide
support if this is the case.
3. Will we receive
future updates of the sotware after purchase of the initial one?
Updates are free to all purchasers of DH-MLM
4. Can the DH-MLM
handle repeated payments to affiliates? eg. if a customer subscribes
to my e-zines for a monthly fee, can the affiliate who referred
this customer continue to receive funds for as long as the customer
is subscribed?
Yes, this is possible. You have the option to make payments to
affiliates on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual or annual basis.
In addition, you can set a "cooling-off" period. This
is the time set after you receive a payment before you credit
the affiliate's account. Payments to affiliates can be cancelled
at any time.
5. What if the customer
cancels the subscription?
If the customer cancels the subscription, you can immediately
stop all payments to the affiliate.
6. What if a customer
requests a refund?
If a customer requested a refund before/after you have credited
the affiliate's accounts, you can retrieve the monies back from
the affiliates. DH-MLM will automatically work out whether or
not the affiliate's accounts have been credited.
7. Do I have to
create my own affiliate pages?
No, it is not necessary. However it is recommended that you customise
it so it looks like a part of your company. All pages are automatically
generated - from the main affiliate pages (which may need some
editting to suit your needs) to the order completion and payment
distributions.
8. How much does
the software cost?
DH-MLM is priced at $377.00 per copy and all upgrades and add-ons
are included.
9. There are variables
that are passed back to me after a payment to my credit card provider.
I may need these variables for my own purposes. Are they available
to me? Am I able to manipulate final.php such that it updates
my database also?
All variables that your credit card provider passes back to you
will be availabe to you as though it were "POSTED" from
the previous screen. The software uses hidden variables to store
all the information passed on from your credit card provider.
This may include receipt numbers and other payment details which
you may need to store in your own database. The variable names
will be identical to the ones your credit card provider has advised
you.
You can add more SQL statements to final.php if you feel they
are necessary for you to run your business. However only do this
if you are familiar with PHP and at your own risk.
10. What if I can't
use cron jobs? Can the software still run?
The software will still run. If you can't set cron jobs, just
ensure that you login to the administrative control panel at least
once a day.
11. Am I allowed
to install DH-MLM on multiple domains?
By purchasing a copy of DH-MLM, you are purchasing a single license
for a single domain. If you intend to use DH-MLM on other domains,
you need to purchase additional licenses. There is a discount
given to bulk purchases - please email us if you are interested
in this.
12. What are the
system requirements to run DH-MLM?
To run DH-MLM, you need to check that you, or your web host has
PHP version 4.1.2+ and MySQL v3.23+ installed.
You also need to have the following settings in your php.ini
file:
- Register Globals = On
- Safe Mode = Off
- allow_url_fopen = 1
- enable_dl = On
Please check your php.ini file. If you are unable to do so, please
contact your web host.
